Default MAC Address - OK for production?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3352

Hello,

I'm using a custom board based on the BeagleBone Black, with an AM3352 processor. I see the default MAC addresses for eth0 and eth1 are read from the Control Module registers (mac_id0_lo, mac_id0_hi, mac_id1_lo, mac_id1_hi). I'd like to know if these MAC addresses can be used in a procuction unit. I've Googled this and looked in the TRM, but I can't find a definitive answer.

Questions:
1. Are these MAC addresses unique (Not used in another AM3352 chip)?
2. Are these MAC addresses registered (OK to use in released production unit)?

Thank you for your time,
Everett
