Hi,

I am trying to use EMIF16 interface,

the EMIF document of 66AK2E05 doesn't tell the reset value of 'WAIT map bits for CEx',

could you tell me what the default value is?

And is there a problem of the info below ?

0x0 WAIT[0] is used.

0x0 WAIT[1] is used.

0x0 Reserved.

Any help on this will be appreciated.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your braining to our notice. I will file a litbug to correct the same.

I have observed the power on reset value of this AWCCR register is: 0xF0040080. I have checked this by connecting emulator to core0 after power on.

CS5_WAIT - 0x0 - WAIT[0] is used.
CS4_WAIT - 0x0 - WAIT[0] is used.
CS3_WAIT - 0x1 - WAIT[1] is used.
CS2_WAIT - 0x0 - WAIT[0] is used.

Thanks a lot for clarifying !

I need to change the value like CSx_WAIT on the arm side(linux),

but it seems that I can only change the following paras(.dts file):

and I can't map the EMIF registers directly to change that: e2e.ti.com/.../454431

Could you give a little more information on this?

Dear Kevin,
I checked the EMIF driver, we didn't implement CSx_WAIT, you can implement your own.
1) You have to add CSx_WAIT node in dts and parse the value then implement it in driver as "wsetup" done.
2) You can also do "__raw_writel" to write the particular CSx_WAIT value.
