OMAP-L138: Connection of OMAP-L138 and FPGA using EMIFA

Part Number: OMAP-L138
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138

Hi,

My customer is using OMAP - L 138 and is trying to connect to the FPGA via EMIFA.
FPGA is 16 bit word.

They have questions about that connection.

1, In the case of always 16-bit access, can connection of EMA_WE_DQM[1: 0] be unnecessary?

2, When fixing the address mapping of FPGA to even number, can connection of EMA_BA[1] be unnecessary?
Their recognition is that, since EMA_BA[1] corresponds to the LSB of the FPGA address,
if there is no need to access the odd address of the FPGA, EMA_BA[1] is no need to connect.

Please tell me if there is any information.

Best Regards,
Miyashiro
