Linux/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: GPIO0 wakeup fails

Hi,

We are using TI SDK kernel 4.4.19 with AM335x on a custom board. We are able to make the device go into standby/deepsleep mode. We see there is a significant decrease in the power and when we try to resume by toggling GPIO0_20, the device doesn't wake up.

We are using the M3 firmware from

git.ti.com/.../ti-v4.1.y

Note: Using rtcwake , we can resume from standby but not from deep sleep.

Hi Praveen,

Do you use ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-03.01.00.06?

During boot, if the CM3 firmware has been properly loaded, the following message will be displayed:

PM: CM3 Firmware Version = 0x191

Do you have this message?

Make sure also you are aligned with below wiki:

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Linux_Core_Power_Management_User's_Guide_(v4.4)

Also make sure you have updated your DTS file for gpio0_20 wake-up feature. AM335x TI EVM and AM335x SK DTS files comes with gpio0_2/3/30 configured for wake-up. Make sure gpio0_20 is pinmux also correct. See the below pointers for more info:
