Hi,
I am looking for OpenCV support on OMAPL138 board. This is for a product on real time video analytics.
Could somebody please tell me what I need to do in order to make use of the C6xxx DSP on the OMAP for OpenCV? For example, where do I get the filesystem from? How do I flash the OpenCV libraries on the DSP? Or should I even do that? How do I access these DSP APIs from my linux program? Can I write a simple OpenCV program and assume that it is running out of DSP?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks and Regards,
Soumya
Hi Rex,
Thanks for your response. How about AM5178? What are the supported OpenCV APIs on that? Does the OpenCV run on C6xxx DSP? If so, how to access these APIs from ARM Cortex15 core? I was hoping that I could interface a Omnivision camera to the AM571x Industrial Development Kit (IDK) development board. Could you please tell me if a MIPI or Parallel interface is available to do this?
Thanks and Best Regards,
Soumya
Hi, Soumya,
You should take a look in OpenCV wiki page under Foundational Components Section in Linux Proc SDK Software Developer's, Guide, processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Processor_SDK_Linux_Software_Developer’s_Guide
I'll have a Multimedia/Graphics expert to answer your question on OmniVision/MIPI question.
