CCS/AMIC110: EtherCAT Slave error

Hi TI,

I'm learning the IEC_AMIC110 with "PRU-ICSS-EtherCAT_Slave_01.00.06.01", and "pdk_am335x_1_0_11".

There no problem when finished compile, but as I download the OUT file, there is a error information like:

CortxA8: SemiHosting : File IO Error : fopen() : D:\Elvis\EtherCat\projects\ethercat_slave_demo_AMIC11x_arm\AMIC11x_debug\:semihosting-features : Invalid argument

What can I do?

Hi Elvis, which project configuration are you trying? DDR or DDR-less?. For your information DDR-Less only works in Release configuration as explained in PRU-ICSS EtherCAT slave User Guide

Hi Elvis, I gave a try in my setup and ethercat_slave_demo_AMIC11x_arm (debug) works OK.

Please check you are using correct tools version from TI-RTOS PSDK 4.3 as mentioned in PRU-ICSS EtherCAT slave release notes. For EtherCAT slave 1.0.6.1 those tools versions are:

- XDCtools 3.50.3.33_core

- SYS/BIOS 6.52.0.12

- AM335x PDK 1.0.10

Also, when creating "Target Configuration" in CCS, choose for Board ICE_AMIC110.

Let us know if you still face any issue after checking above points.

I have no idea where the download error comes from, because the AMIC110 can non-problem run with this error.

The error will occurs when I download the PRU-ICSS examples as SPI Slave(DDR-less?) or Slave Demo.

For it's correctly running, so I will do the test continue, if there're problems, I will forward my troubles.
