Thank you for you post and notifying us of the needed update.

Just to make you aware, these files haven't been updated in quite a while and likely won't work with the latest SDKs. They should still serve as a good reference.

We don't have plans at this time to update these files as the process has largely been migrated to Device Tree.

Thank you for your quick reply. Do I have a new wiki for how to porting the u-boot for the new Device Tree based software? Currently I am working on an evaluation board from 3rd party, and the software they provided is quite old. I hope to upgrade the base to the latest RT-link SDK.

I find the best the below to be the best presentation to help people get started with DT:

And we provide lots of example DTs and a good starting infrastructures in arch/arm/boot/dts inside the kernel sources.
