Hello,

Can we run and debug the code without loading the binary onto the board? is Hardware in loop simulation possible with CCS?

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking about using a simulator for debug, instead of using a real hardware target?

I apologize for the confusion. Yes, you are right. I would like to know if i can use a simulator for debugging.

Note that simulators are no longer supported by CCS. There was a Vayu simulator that was once supported by the device group. It ran on an older CCS version no longer supported. There are more details in the below thread:
e2e.ti.com/.../2722407

Any additional questions regarding this old simulation option should be directed to the device experts since the CCS group does not support this simulator.
