Linux/TDA2PXEVM: system crash

Hello,

I'm terence from China. The vision SDK 03 05 that I was using had a system crash, when I executed reboot command. The attachment is the log file,could you help us to have a look.

    Also do you get the error when you do "shutdown"?

    1.We modified some code for our demand,like vision_sdk/links_fw/src/hlos/links_a15/sgxFrmcpy,ti_components/os_tools/linux/u-boot/u-boot,ti_components/os_tools/linux/kernel/omap/arch/arm/boot/dts/dra76-evm-infoadas.dts, and so on.
    2.What does "shutdown" mean? There is no problem to power up and down,system works fine, just soft restart will have a problem.That is to say,execute the command of "reboot" on shell will lead to system crash,and print the dump stack log every time.

    Couple of questions and experiments:

    1. Where are you boot-strapping the remote-core firmware from? From kernel or u-boot?
    2. Can you launch vision-SDK and select "z: Exit = AMD SHUTDOWN Remote CPUs" option in the main menu in Vision-SDK application. Once you do this, do you see a crash?
    3. If 2. is successful can you run the reboot command now and see if the crash still occurs.

    1.My current development environment refers to the VisionSDK_Linux_UserGuide.pdf.  The attachment is the com_2018-11-24_13-47-14.log file of system startup.

    2.I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand how to operate,and how to select "z: Exit = AMD SHUTDOWN Remote CPUs". Is there any detailed steps?

    Can you follow the instructions in the below link to unload the remote-proc firmware before running the reboot command. You would need to run the below command, for each core being loaded (IPU1/2, DSP1/2).
