Dear Friends,

I am using TMS320C6747 in my project.For this in the datasheet the JTAG & Emulation explanation ,it given that there is only EMU[0]pin available for 14 pin JTAG Emulator connection.

Actually if we see for 14 pin Emulator EMU0 &EMU1 is required.So as per the HW connection we have kept .Will it work for 14 pin JTAG TI's XDS100v3 Emulator for the TMS320C6747 or we have to choose another

Emulator.

Hi Ashrumochan,

Refer to the C6747 LCDK schematics for the EMU1 implementation.

A 14-pin JTAG header is permissible. I believe the XDS100v3 should work, but I'll confirm.

Hi Ashrumochan,

I have confirmed that the XDS100v3 will work with C6747 and the 14-pin JTAG header. Follow the C6747 LCDK example for EMU1.

- CCS5.5 and newer supports C674x with XDS100 Hardware versions v1, v2, and v3.

Furthermore, C6747 is NOT listed among Cores NOT supported - processors.wiki.ti.com/.../XDS100

This example implementation of the XDS 100v3 by Spectrum Digital also specifically lists C674x and support for both CTI-20 and 14-pin JTAG headers. www.spectrumdigital.com/xds100v3-usb-cjtag-jtag-emulator
