Hi all,

I have TDA2p board with following setup:

LCD pins on TDA2p are connected to Parallel-to-CSI converter. PAR2CSI is connected to UB953 and video is sent over FPD link. I managed to send 1080p@30fps RGB888 video and successful capture that video on another board. Our customer requirements are to send 1080p@60fps YUV422. The question I have is: Is it possible to send YUV422 video over LCD? According TRM, it is possible to enable/disable color space conversion:

In fact, video is already in YUV422 format, I would like just to bypass conversion to RGB. Is this possible and if it is possible, please give me short guidelines what changes are required.

How many video pipes (including graphics) are required in your use case?

Hi Rishabh,

Currently I'm using only one video pipe - one LCD output, without graphics. Final usecase should be able to handle at the most 4 pipes at once - 3 LCD outputs and one HDMI output.
But, for now I should be able to output YUV over single LCD.

Hi Stefan,

As such DSS does not support YUV422 output over discrete sync interface. But I have a way.
