TMS320C6747： How to program (write) to external flash ROM

Thank you for the ccs road map. I found that using ccs v9 and xds200 usb we could develop C6747. What is flashing means to program (write) to external flash ROM? Is this not possible with ccs v9 and does it require the flash loading utility?
Where is the user guide for how to use it?

Hello,

I take it you want to boot directly from external flash using the ROM bootloader? You cannot do this with CCS, you will need to use AISGen and the Serial Flashing Utility.

To add to Sahin`s response, Serial flash (SPI) and parallel flash (NAND/NOR connected to EMIFA) are the most common used flash boot media that device can boot from. The serial flash and boot package allows users to program the flash over serial (UART) interface in a production environment.

We also provide CCSv3.3 projects in the serial flash and boot package that can be imported and built in the CCSv9 as legacy CCS project. We have created a document that describes how the legacy project can be imported and built in the document below:

I now have a board with C6747 + spartan 3+ (S29JL032J70TFI010) developed nine years ago.
The flash is a parallel flash (connected by EMIFA), so please tell me how to parallel flash (NAND/NOR connected to EMIFA) .
I will carefully read the material that you taught me how to boot.
