Hi,

This is additional queries for below thread.

Customer would like to know more details in this regard.

(1) Initial model: ALG_TIDL processing time
EVE = 360 ms, DSP = 17 ms

(2) Sparse model: ALG_TIDL processing time
EVE = 182 ms, DSP = 17 ms

How can we confirm these numbers are reasonable considering TDA2x performance?

Are there any guideline or benchmark?

    Hi Shibata,

    From the numbers we could see that sparse model is better performance, but to confirm these are reasonable you can two things,

    1. Customer can compare TI model's MACs Vs its processing time ratio with his model MACs Vs processing time ratio to check the ratio is similar.. that means 

    if X GMAC processed in Y ms Processing time, then X/2 GMAC should take roughly Y/2 time.

    OR 

    2. Customer can check TIDL data sheet where we mentioned processing cycles for different layers with different configurations , so one can estimate performance of their network by using the data from the datasheet.
