Hi Team,

I am planning to use 66AK2E05 SOC in our upcoming project, can you clarify below query's.

1)Can we use 10G ethernet in DSP and 1G in ARM in bare metal environment ?

2)Can we use PCIe interface along with GPIOs in DSP core ?

3) If Processor boots from Master ARM core via NOR/NAND Flash can it load, rest ARM and DSP cores which can run independently in Bare metal environment?

Hi,

1) There are OSs: bare-metal, TI SYSBIOS, TI LINUX

DSP driver on 10 GbE: No No Yes but on ARM only

ARM diver on 1 GbE: No Yes Yes

You may need to develop the bare metal driver either based on the SYSBIOS code (1 GbE), or from a different core architecture (10GbE)

Yes, both ARM & DSP can be booted in bare-metal individually.

Thanks Eric for your reply.

DSP alone cannot send any data via 10G port or 1G Ethernet port. Please suggest us alternate way for sending data via 10G port using DSP(other part ).

Suggest us available support and documents for bare metal development.

Hi,

DSP alone can send data via 1GbE ethernet port, it is just TI SYSBIOS code, you need to change to baremetal if you want.

There is no code for DSP to send data via 10GbE, the reference is:
