reference the document:

SDK version is 06.03.00.106 and u-boot version is u-boot-2019.01.

sudo usbboot-stand-alone -S spl/u-boot-spl.bin

lsusb <= can see the device ID:0451:d014

sudo dfu-util -l <=but can not see anything on TMDXIDK5718 uart console

Hi Daniel,

We do not have support for DFU (USB peripheral boot) on the am57xx-idk.

The IDK does not have dip switches which can be used to change boot modes.

Daniel,

Unfortunately none of the IDKs support the DFU. DRA7 is known
to support DFU.

I check

Sysboot setting for USB boot:
•
SW2[0..7] = 00 001000
•
1 is ON on the DIP switch

But I check the AM571x TRM(spruhz7i.pdf)

So sysboot[5:0] should set 000100 not 001000?

Hi Daniel,

am57xx-idk would need few resistor changes to enable DFU mode. As conveyed earlier DIP switches
are not present so hardware modifications would be needed to even get to DFU switch settings.

Hi Daniel,

The design files are located here (scroll down to the "Design Files" section):

The boot mode resistors are listed on page 22 of the schematics. You can use the assembly files to help locate the components. It looks like the pull-downs are located on the bottom side, and the pull-ups are on the top side of the PCB, all located hear the processor. If you draw an imaginary line from the SD card slot to the processor, you will intersect the area the sysboot resistors are located.
