AM3358: AM3358 I2S interface with TLV320DAC3100

Im trying to interface AM3358 with TLV320DAC3100 over I2S

I will be keeping TLV320DAC3100 as slave and AM3358 as master.

I want to know the exact I2S and I2C configuration (register settings and clk settings) so i can transmit audio from my beaglebone to a speaker connected with TLV320DAC3100.

Hello,

I am assuming you are using Processor SDK Linux and if yes, please refer to the following files for the DT settings:

On our AM335x EVM, we use tlv320aic3106 (different that your setup) and please use it as a reference for setting up your configuration. In summary, you will have one node that sets up the codec (Ref. Link: https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/tree/arch/arm/boot/dts/am335x-evm.dts?h=linux-4.19.y#n468), another node for the McASP configuration (Ref, Link: https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/tree/arch/arm/boot/dts/am335x-evm.dts?h=linux-4.19.y#n634) and a final node for the sound card where you connect the McASP and the codec (Ref. Link: https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/tree/arch/arm/boot/dts/am335x-evm.dts?h=linux-4.19.y#n160)

Thanks for getting back.

The main issue im stuck with is that i need to configure the AM3358 while i have configured the TLV IC with help of a config file shared to me on other thread (https://e2e.ti.com/support/audio/f/6/p/920022/3403995#3403995)

I want exact configuration or as exact as possible at AM3358's side to make things moving.

It'd be really helpful if you could share a dts file having the required config.

PS:
sampling rate has been kept as 48Khz.
