OCTVO-3P-AM335X: How to generate .img file from CCS9.3?

Hello everyone,

I am new in the processor SDK, i have baremetal example with me now in my CCS. i would like to load this example into the BealeBoneBlack AM335x.

But CCS can create only .hex or .txt file as a output file. i want .img file. How can i generate it from CCS?

here i would like to clarify that, i don't have any emulator with me. i can boot it from SD card. so for SD card i require .img file.

Anyone have any idea about this?

The AM335x bootloader is described here:

You can add the format conversion procedure in the "post build" step of your CCS project.
