CCS/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: Is CCS 9.3 (not 10.1) required for AM335x development?

Part Number: PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

(Background: Have prior experience with CCS v8 on CC3220, extensive experience with NXP MCUXpresso on Cortex-M parts, etc, have used many other toolchains.)

I'm trying to get started with TI-RTOS development for Sitara AM335x.  I have a BeagleBone Black (and Seeed BB Green Gateway), an XDS110 pod, and some Samtec cTI 20-pin headers to solder down.  I pulled down CCS 10.1 as a starting point, got that installed, then went looking for TI-RTOS and AM335x support.  I did pull down ti-processor-sdk-rtos-am335x-evm-06.03.00.106-Windows-x86-Install.exe and got that installed in my C:\TI directory.  I then tried using Resource Explorer, but after saying "OK" to the cookie notice, I get nothing but a giant blank tab when I open Resource Explorer.

I've had a look at the release notes for the AM335x SDK, and in section 2.1.4 at the bottom, it lists CCS 9.3 as the IDE.  Is this the required version of CCS for doing Sitara SDK and TI-RTOS development?
