Hello,

We are planning to use eMMC to load rootfs on our Custom board .

Currently J7 EVM has 16Gb of eMMC and our custom board has 128Gb. The part on our custom board is from the same family of J7 EVM.

We don't have our custom board in our hand but could you please let me know what I have to change in BSP to change the size of the eMMC?

Hi Satish,

There is an FAQ that was recently created to address changes between the default eMMC configuration and adapt to the custom board.

In parallel, I will check further on the 16GB to 128GB change and revert back.

Hi Satish,

There are no changes to support a higher size eMMC part - the kernel driver has the support to dynamically determine card size during enumeration.

For bigger sizes it should just work.
