AM5728: Could AM5728 boot without EEPROM?

Hi Expert,

My custom am5728 board could not boot if device without EEPROM, and can not see any log.

When put the EEPROM on the board, the log can see.

But only can see the two lines:

U-Boot SPL 2015.07-00086-g70f4e08 (Dec 03 2020 - 02:25:19)

DRA752-GP ES2.0

Could I boot custom board without EEPROM?

May I modify the boot code to skip the EEPROM check?

    Hi,

    Please take a look at this referencehttps://e2e.ti.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/791/u_2D00_boot_2D00_no_2D00_eeprom.patch u-boot patch. You need to disable EEPROM read in U-boot.

    The patch is for DRA829/TDA4 but you can adapt for your platform.
