sys/bios logger as black box data recorder

Hey,

I've started using the logger in the sys/bios on the C6748. This is a really powerful but potentially limited tool as it seems to require CCS to be directly tethered to the C6748. This could be a really valuable tool for debugging issues across multiple units or even in customer units in the field. Is there a way this information can be dumped to a file (e.g. on flash) and downloaded at a later time? Or else could the information be streamed out another port, like UART, ethernet, or USB?

Hi Tobyn,

Please have a look at the below TI WIKI which talks about capturing the BIOS LOG data from the target and store it in a file in a host PC and later it can be viewed using the LOG decoding program.
