Hello,

Is there any MP3 encoder library (or source code) for C5515/14/05/04 DSP?

I could find the MP3 decoder on TI web side, but I could not find MP3 encoder.

Hi,

It is tricky to provide MP3 Encoder binaries or source code for due to royalties paid on a per device basis. See here: mp3licensing.com/.../hardware.html

If you can contact your TI representative, we may be able to help you evaluate our RAGA framework which supports MP3 encoding on C5515.

Still you will likely need to work out a license with Technicolor and then work with Mistral (3P) who developed the RAGA engine.

Perhaps you can get by with AAC encoding, which is available on TI.com: software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html
