We redesigned 6678 EVM, and connect GE port 0 to Switch, the interface between 6678 and Switch should be MAC to MAC linker pattern. as follows:
if using this MAC to MAC mode, what 6678 should be set? BCM5396 MAC should be set to SGMII mode or Serdes mode?
The follows is BCM5396 MAC SerDes/SGMII Control1 register, what's mode should be set if it directly connect to 6678 EVM port 0?
