Hi all,

It looks like gforge.ti.com/.../pru_sw was taken down. Is this available anywhere else from TI?

I see http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/PRU_Linux_Loader is marked for reference only, but (I am very ignorant here) is there a migration path to PRU-ICSS for OMAP-L138 (not sure if that is even the right question). We have been building an app for the PRU and using the pru loader from the previous repository. I imagine moving to PRU-ICSS will have a different loader and may have some impact on our dependencies.

Hello Jacob,

1) Could you describe what you are trying to do?

2) What version of Linux and/or Processor SDK are you using?

Background information:

* "PRU-ICSS" and "PRU" are often used interchangably- the PRU is just the RISC core within the Industrial Communications Subsystem. General information about PRU-ICSS (on pretty much all our processors except OMAP-L138) can be found at the PRU-ICSS wiki.

* TI only offers software support for our Processor SDKs - so I can look for resources that we previously published for older software like the PRU-SWPKG for OMAP-L138 (last updated in 2010?), but I can't guarantee that those old resources work, and I can't answer any questions about them.

* Our OMAP-L138 Processor SDK 4.02 does not currently support the PRU. That doesn't mean its impossible to use the PRU in that SDK, but it means the drivers we use to interact with the PRU on other processors aren't tested on OMAP-L138, the drivers may not exist in that SDK, and that I can't help you get the PRU working on that particular processor running any versions of the SDK TI has released so far (4.02 and previous).

I have similar issue, any link to https://gforge.ti.com seems not working, even using vpn.
I'm trying to get some archives to build yocto linux for a compulab am57 which is texas instruments AM57 processor (sitara).

Example non-working link: gforge.ti.com/.../amsdk-av-files_1.4.tar.gz
