AM5728: How to driver USB port when system is running in QSPI flash

Hi All,

I am using AM572x Industrial EVM board. I can boot the linux in QSPI flash, but I still cannot driver USB port in this.

I'm using the default device tree: am572x-idk.dtb

file system: The default file(arago-tiny-image-am57xx-evm.tar.xz) in ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-05.03.00.07. But I compressed it into jffs2 format.

    Can you explain more on "cannot driver USB port in this"? Are you saying that the USB driver is not getting started in the kernel?  

    If you are using the default device tree, the USB driver must automatically start as part of the kernel loading sequence.

    The kernel config file shared has the required configs for enabling USB.

    Yes I guess.

    I inserted the USB disk, but the system didn't any respond.  And the USB port is not powered.

    It is worth mentioning that I modified uboot so that it can boot bootloader through QSPI flash.

    Please check your board's kernel dtb file and make sure if the USB device tree entry  "dr_mode" is set to 'host'.
