DRA74P: 4GB ram test in android

Try Building memtester as static binary and do "adb push" to rw partition (Ex: /data) and execute from "adb shell" .

We would like to be so simple,

but the main problem is that Android JB, k 3.8 cannot address 4 GB becouse of LPAE missing support.We can index at maximum 2 GB for the OS and memtester is running as Linux process . I don't think it can change the memory configuration on the fly.

The real issue is how we can test 4 GB if the kernel does not support it , (reboots are not allowed and is required Android to be running ).

Since there is no LPAE, why do you want to test 4GB memory?
Does the hardware have the 4GB part, but the software only uses 2GB?

Yes the HW have 4GB part , but the SW use only 2GB. Our Fab. perfom Enviromental testing with this SW and need to test 4 GB are working / Same issues in Production before skipping the device.  

Unfortunatelly different SW stages are not allowed. 

Any Idea ?
