Logarithmic power detector

Hello Annie,

   The logarithmic amplifiers are used to measure the input signal level or amplitude (voltage) and output is a non-linear output signal usually in dB. Is there a particular product from TI the customer is looking at?

At first, the customer thought that this device could directly measure the power of the signal, but it turned out that only the amplitude of the signal could be measured. He thinks that this name should not be used, customer will misunderstand.

   I believe the type of products they are looking for in this case are RF power detectors such as the LMV225.Here is a list of our logarithmic power detectors. I edited my response above, I meant to say logarithmic amplifiers rather than logarithmic power detectors.

Customer needs device that can collect the peak value or effective value of signals from low-frequency tens of Hz to high-frequency signals of tens of M Hz.

Hello Annie,

   Thanks for the information! We have the LMH2121, this is a peak (not logarithmic as mentioned earlier) RF power detector. It can support frequencies up to 3GHz.
