Digital to Analog converter evaluation board

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC38RF82

I need a DAC evaluation board that can continuously generate 16-20 simultaneous signals (tones ) with high precision (+/- 10 KHz) in a 100 MHz band either at some base band or at actual RF of 2-3 GHz.

The data sheets are vague as to accuracy with some of the samples off by 60KHz.....

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Carlos

  • Carlos,

What do you mean by +/-10kHz? If you want 16-20 tones inside 100MHz bandwidth, they will be spaced 100 / 16-20 = 5MHz to 6.25MHz.

What data sheets are you referring to?  I think the DAC38RF82 will be able to support your application. Have you looked at this part?

    Regards,

    Jim

  • Jim,

    1. Not equally spaced .

    2. Another Manufacturers sample configuration GUI showed desired freq. and actual freq. with a diff of 60 KHz....

    3. Thanks will look into DAC38RF82

    Thanks

    Carlos
