Hello support team,
I have below query regarding the External LNA control using internal AGC mechanism. I have found through configuration guide regarding external LNA gain and phase offset , we can add through Latte GUI. So, here I am using all 4 simultaneous RF input channels and in each channel , there is a cascade amplifier chain( Fixed low gain amplifier + Bypass high gain block amplifier) .
1) Now, I have seen that , It is possible to provide details regarding external LNA gain and phase to the internal AGC mechanism. So, during continuous operation, when Internal AGC mechanism bypass the external amplifier, external LNA phase offset will not be added. and when the internal AGC mechanism enable the external LNA, at that time , equivalent phase offset to be added to the DDC output to compensate the phase variation done, right?
Please confirm weather my above understanding is correct or not?
2) External bypass amplifier will provide phase variation in both mode 1) bypass mode(lower phase variation for example 2 deg ) 2) Enable mode(higher phase variation for example 177 deg), So, The internal AGC mechanism will offset both kind of phase variation , i.e. with bypass mode as well enable mode ? because , when the external amplifier is in the bypass mode, then slight phase variation will be there.
Could you please support and guide on the above query?
Awaited your response.
