AFE7900EVM: Part Number question.

Hi all,

According to TI website, it should possible to include ADC7906 in evaluation kit AFE7900EVM.

My question is how to indicate that this ADC AFE7906 is included when making the quote.

Does the evaluation kit have a different Part Number for each type of ADC that it include?

    Hi Pablo,

    The AFE7906 is a subset of the AFE7900, so for evaluation purposes you can use the AFE7900EVM but program it as an AFE7906. To order an EVM you do not have to make note of the AFE7906 as you will be using the AFE7900 for evaluation.

    Also, included with the Latte software are scripts that can program the AFE7906 into supported configurations.
