Hi,

I would like to test the DAC38RF90. It seems that only the DAC38RF80 has an Evaluation board and the datasheet for the EVM states that a TSW14J56EVM is needed. But neither the TSW14J56 or TSW14J57 are available for purchase. Can you recommend other options?

    Hi Gabriel,

    Firstly, I apologize for such a late response here. Secondly, regarding the status of the TSW14J56/57 EVMs, we are not planning any rebuild of the TSW14J56, but we do have a rebuild of TSW14J57EVM planned. As of now, there is an unknown completion date. For immediate evaluation, we can place the DAC into a serial DAC mode where the output is a CW tone from using the constant input function of our device. This swaps the DAC digital inputs to a constant (0Hz) internal signal mixed with a user definable NCO. This would allow for evaluation of this DAC without using an FGPA board but unfortunately only allows for evaluation with CW tones. If you are interested in seeing any custom pattern on this DAC, we would be more than happy to import the pattern on our hardware and take some measurements for you.
