AFE7950: Why x8 decimtion at ADC sample rate = 2.5GHz does not work?

Hello,

My customer would like to use x8 decimation at ADC sample rate = 2.5GHz.
But, datasheet Table 8-5 says x8 decimation is not valid at ADC sample rate = 2.5GHz.
What is the reason it works at ADC sample rate = 1.5GSPS, 2.25GSPS, 3GSPS, but not 2.5GSPS?

    Hi Hirano,

    The decimation of x8 is supported for 2.5GSPS. The decimation values in the different columns can be scaled to any of the different sampling rates. However, when doing this you must also scale the DAC sampling rate and interpolation the same.
