Hi TI Guru,

I want to design a mating for AFE7769DEVM (FMC+), we are looking some of the data so that we can make sure the mating work.

What is the TX and RX serdes return loss for AFE7769DEVM ?

Possibly share us the graph up to 29.5Gbps will definitely help on our design.

We want to have and ideal of max length of routing that can be allowed on our side.

Hi Alder,

We can provide you IBIS AMI model and you can model the entire SerDes transmitter/receiver chain. You can extract out the S parameter model from your PCB board file (of your host board) and our AFE7769D EVM PCB file as a starting point. You will also need your FPGA's IBIS AMI file to complete the chain.

We will share via mysecureserver and you may download from there.

Thank you Kang,

I can see the ibis and the PCB, however, since TI had already design the EVM, probably TI already has simulated it. It could be more efficient if you can share the data with us.
