AFE7900: Pmax_Fs value for c band 5.4 GHz - 5.9GHz at 10GSPS sampling

Dear Sir/Madam,

In the datasheet of AFE7900, reference 7.5 Transmitter Electrical Characteristics for DAC , parameter Pmax_FS has test conditions only till fout = 4900MHz, fDAC=8847.36MSPS,-0.5dBFS, straight mode .

We are working in c band frequency range from 5.4GHz to 5.9GHz at FDAC value of 10 GSPS . Hence, we would wish to know  Pmax_FS paramater typical value in mentioned frequency and sampling rate.

Kindly help to resolve this issue .

    Sorry for the delay. I will reach out to the validations team to see if there is any data with your conditions.

    In the meantime, in the datasheet section 6.12.13 figure 6-504 has the TX full scale vs RF frequency for the different channels at 8847.36MSPS, Mix Mode, 2nd Nyquist Zone for 4.3GHz to 5.5GHz. In that plot you could see a full scale value that should be close to the one for your conditions. Since you are looking at 10GSPS the full scale value might be a little lower than the 8847.36MSPS plot.

    It seems like there was no extra data that would fit your conditions. I have decided to try this in the AFE7900EVM by using Fdac = 10GSPS in straight mode with interpolation by 20. Please see the table below for the results.

    I was using TXA which has a matching network appropriate for the band and have substracted the cable loss from the measurements. I set the DAC input to a scaling of 0.891251 which is equivalent to -1dBFS.
