Can we measure temperature on AFE79xx ?

    I want to know if it is possible to read temperature on AFE79xx by reading some registers.

    Hi Thameem,

    The AFE79xx has a temperature sensor and it can be read by using the “AFE.getDeviceTemp()” function in the AFE79xx Latte GUI.

    It is important to note that temperature sensor is not calibrated and can have an error of 10-20 degrees Celsius device to device. It is useful for relative measurements between operation modes. For example, in a low power sleep mode of operation, the die temperature should be close to the device package temperature, and can be used as a baseline to improve the absolute temperature accuracy by providing a temperature offset for use in other conditions.
