Part Number: AFE7950EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE7950

Tool/software:

Hi,

I am evaluating with AFE7950EVM and TSW14J57, but I cannot open iGui on Latte.

I followed the steps below, but the log shows "Error Loading iGui"

There is no further information, so I don't know the cause.

Is there any solution?

Thank you.

  • Hi Kazuto,

Can you confirm that you are using the latest version of the AFE79xx GUI when you are seeing this issue? It may be possible that when installing the GUI there was an issue so you can try uninstalling then reinstalling the GUI to see if this fixes the issue.

Also, one thing to check is to see if you are still able to configure the device following the bringup guides. The iGUI is only used as a visual and is not used to configure the device, so you should still be able to program the device.

    Regards,

    David Chaparro

  • Hi David,

    Thank you for your reply.

    1. Latte software version: I confirm that we are currently using the latest version, v2.5.
    2. Reinstallation: I have attempted to reinstall Latte, but the issue persists.
    3. Device configuration: I have checked the bringup guides and confirmed that I am able to configure the device.

    Best regards,

    Kazuto Odajima

  • Hi Kazuto,

Since reinstalling did not help the issue could be corruption of a file that was not removed when uninstalling Latte. After uninstalling the GUI can you also delete the AFE79xx Latte folders at the locations below then try reinstalling the GUI.

    1. AFE79xxLatte folder at: C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\Texas Instruments
    2. AFE79xxLatte folder at: C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments

    Regards,

    David Chaparro
