AFE7900EVM: KCU105 design example script error

Good morning TI experts.

I am trying to replicate step by step the setting-up of the AFE7900-EVM board (PCB REV A) connected to a Xilinx KCU105 board.

As a procedure I am using the file TI204c-Setup-docx.

I have a problem on point 4 of the procedure.

When I get to the point "Run TI_IP_ConfigAfe.py in latte" the software gives me this error: "mismatch between entered (0x20) and device read chip version (0x12 or 0x13)".

If I click the ok button to continue I then get the error shown in the following figure:

SOLVED!

Fixed by editing the setup.py file.
Line 13 of the file with chipVersion=0x13

Hi Luca,

For each specific AFE part there are folders in the GUI that have specific setup.py scripts for that part.

When using the AFE7950EVM you should use the setup.py from the AFE7950 folder which has the chipVersion set to 0x13.

Also, if you are not using the latest version of the AFE79xx software then I would request that you download the latest from the secure resources folder.

Thanks David for the reply.  The problem is that I'm using an AFE7900EVM and not a 7950!
Tomorrow I'll do a check, but I'm almost sure I have the latest versions of the tools 
and that I used the script inside the 7900 folder.
