LMX8410L: How to completely disable DC offset correction in External LO mode?

Part Number: LMX8410L

Tool/software:

Hello,

We are using the LMX8410L in External LO mode, where the RF IN signal is at the same frequency as the External LO. In this configuration, we expect the I/Q outputs to include a DC component (i.e., signal at 0 Hz).

When we apply a frequency offset to the RF IN signal, the I/Q outputs respond as expected, producing the same amount of frequency offset in the output. This confirms that the demodulation is working correctly.

According to the datasheet, the LMX8410L includes an automatic DC offset correction algorithm. To observe or preserve the DC signal, we attempted to control the behavior using DCOC-related registers such as R126 and R84. However, the I/Q outputs still behave as if DC offset correction is active.

Is there a way to completely disable the DC offset correction function in the LMX8410L when using External LO mode?

Any insights or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
