Dear team,

As per the AFE7950 guide lines ,recommended to maintain the separate ground for Analog supplies and digital supplies.

But in the EVM-AFE7950 separate ground is not maintained in SCH and PCB.Is it necessary to maintain the separate Ground for the Analog supplies and digital supplies?

    Hi Venkat,

    Our recommendation is to follow what is done on the AFE7950EVM which is to separate the GND plane by adding the ground slotting underneath the AFE, the grounds can be shorted just outside the device boundary as shown below. This will minimize coupling of digital onto the RF path.
