AFE7950-SP: Syncin min Vid

Part Number: AFE7950-SP

Tool/software:

We are using a Polarfire FPGA with Vod specs of 250 - 450mV.

The AFE7950-SP is spec'd at Vid 450mV typical for Syncin. Will the Polar be able to drive the AFE7950-SP Syncin properly?

    Hi Steve,

    If the customer wants to use LVDS Sync then the LVDS18 format on the FPGA side will be compatible. If the LVDS18 is not supported then it may be possible to use the LVDS25 as a backup.

    Another option that the customer can look into is using the CMOS Sync on the AFE side, which we typically recommend as it reduces the number of pins needed between the AFE and FPGA. If this route is used then LVCMOS18 is typically used.
