Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSW14J57EVM,
Tool/software:
Hello,
I recently began working with AFE7950EVM + TSW14J57EVM to implement it in our projects. I followed the bring up guides available in “Guides_and_SW” to perform device initialization and was successful in replicating the results using Latte and HSDC Pro Software.
Next, I tried to test the RX DSA calibration procedure. I performed the bring up sequence again and supplied a -16 dBm tone in the frequency band of interest to all four RX ports, as indicated by the RX DSA Gain/Phase Application Note. To start the calibration, I used the command AFE.doRxDsaCalib in the Latte command window with the default options.
The pop-up shown below appeared, followed by a error message telling me the power of the input signal is too low. The same error occurred for the other RXs, ending with a failure to generate the calibration file.
Do I need to provide a signal with more power than the -16 dBm indicated? Moreover, is the sequence of steps I took correct? Bring up the kit using Latte and HSDC, as shown in the bring up guide, followed by the calibration command in Latte.
Any additional information on the DSA Calibration procedure is greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
