Hello,

I am working on setting up AGC to work in internal mode on a AFE7950EVM+TSM14J57 board.

Following the documentation in "AFE79xx Configuration Guide", chapter 5 describes the following for choosing settings for AGC:

However, on the same document, the operation of the peak detectors is described. It states that the peak estimate is taken over 8 samples and then compared with the peak and count thresholds defined.

Therefore, sholdn't the maximum value for NumHitsAbs be diveded by 8 on the settings definition? Are there any other documentation that describes AGC's peak calculation and threshold crossing available?
