I am trying to establish a bluetooth connection between my smartphone and laptop, using a LMX9838 chip. (PmodBT from Digilent).
I have so far managed to send data from my smartphone (using an android Bluetooth terminal) to my laptop (using Realterm).
My problem is when trying to send data from the laptop to the smartphone. It won't do anything. I have used the SimplyBlue commander tool to try and set the module, but it won't do anything. Another thing that caught my eye was that, when trying to view the EEPROM contents using the SimplyBlue commander tool, the content was empty apparently.
I don't know if this is really the case or it just won't read it due to other issues. Another thing: when trying to send commands to which the chip must answer, I get no answer in the SimplyBlueCommander console.
