GC5325 Signal Issue

Hello,

I am currently evaluating GC5325 with our power amplifier. I noticed there are few LTE waveforms inside the "baseband_data" folder.

My question is: if i need to create a customize LTE waveform, for instance LTE_4*5MHz signal with specify PAR. Is it possible to create a customize LTE waveform?

    Hi Xing Chen,

    You can load any waveform into the GC5325SEK GUI.  It will resample the signal according to the entered data rate of the input signal.  The GC5325SEk normally needs a 61.44Msps data file - but it can also resample as needed (within reason).  The input file can be from other sources like matlab or ADS.  It just needs to have a 2 column (I Q) in signed integer format.  We generally keep the signal within 99% of +/- 2^15.  The only other requirement is that the signal is spectrally coherent.

    You can also use the CFR in the GC5325 SEK to adjust the desired output PAR.  Or you can leave the CFR off and use a signal with the desired PAR.

    Refer to section 4 of the users guide.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

    hi Ken,

    I know how to use the CFR in the GC5325 SEK to adjust the desired output PAR now (I could see the ACPR change with/without applying the CFR). But, after I applied the CFR function, I didn't see an update curve in the CCDF plot. so, my question is what percentage is the PAR in the software referring to? The default PAR in the software is 8, is it referring to the 0.1% or peak or other percentages of the CCDF curve?

    Second question:

    I realized there is a software came with the CD that can used to generator multi carriers LTE waveform: TSW3100_LTE_v1p03.exe. I followed the TSW3100_LTE User's Guide. After i clicked the "Generate and Transfer to TSW3100" button, I couldn't find any waveform file been generated. my question is: was it supposed to be a file generated in somewhere after i clicked the Generate and Transfer to TSW3100 button? or you think there was something that i didn't follow correctly? please help.
