I am working with LMX2492 PLL and because of the nature of the SPI buffer I am using to fill up registers in the PLL, the code writes data (all 0's) onto a few reserved registers as well. Will this be a problem?

Actually, this is could be a problem as these are test bits and the default states for these bits are not all zero.
