Hello, Please provide me some additional info on the lmX2492 Evaluation board:

1) Does it come with a 100 MHz oscillator and a VCO on board?

2) Can I use it to generate 9.25 GHz CW sine wave signal?

3) What is the output dBm level?

4) What are the harmonics and the spurious dBc values?

5) Where can I find the software that allows me to configure it and the instructions to do so?

Thank you for the info. The output power of less than 10 dBm is a problem, I need 18 dBm to be able to substitute the STALO I am currently using with this board. If I use this $200 board, I will have to add an amplifier which makes the cost way too high.

I have recently purchased following LMX2492 evaluation board from TI, and want to get going with it quickly.

I am thoroughly following this user guide and the youtube video.

I couldn't figure out what is the Red-Probe in the video. As per guide, this is not required, but I imagined it could be trigger. After all possible efforts, I couldn't make it work. I don't see any output on oscilloscope. I am using CodeLoader for programming it as described. I am not using external Osc. reference, so believing that on board Osc. should do its job by default. Whats the way to enable the onboard Osc. ?
