Hi

If I would like to make a transceiver over cdma network,(assuming I will implement all protocols and supports cellular frequency channels as well)

Which device should I choose that is cheaper and everything is built in,so I could transceive data over a  cdma channel

    Some of the suggestions are based on number of channels, and the baseband connections.

    The GC4016, GC4116 is a 4 channel DDC, and 4 channel DUC to support CDMA bandwidths.  This pair of devices has a baseband interface

    that can be McBSP to match a TI DSP.

    The GC5016 can use a single device for 2 channel DDC, 2 channel DUC, the interface is an interleaved IQ, 8 orf 16 bit interface., 3.3vCMOS.

    If more channels are needed, the GC5316 can have upto 24 CDMA or 12 UMTS channels for both DDC and DUC.

    The least expensive of these parts is the GC5016.  There is a TSW4100 EVM, that has an ADC 5545, GC5016-DDC, FPGA, GC5016-DUC, DAC5688

    that has a single antenna, two or four channel repeater example.  The schematic can be provided to show how the TI devices are utilized.

    I am asking just to be sure,

    So I  can make a point to point communication over cdma channel with TSW4100 EVM  without adding any other device?

    in specifications it says it works with the IO  frequency ranges 0-240MHtz, but as far as I know UMTS  works with 900-1800MHtz. I didn't understand this part

    By the  way is there a cheaper EVM alternative ,around 400$ to make this, 2 channel is enough also.

    As I indicated in the last post, the TSW4100 is an IF repeater.  If you want to go from IF to RF you will need an RF to IF downconverter, and IF to RF upconverter.

    There is a TSW6011EVM, this has RF input, quadrature downconversion,  there is an FPGA for customized baseband (0IF) logic and control of the TRF3711.

    There is a TSW3003, this has an IQ parallel input, interpolating DAC5688, and a Quadrature Modulator 3703.  There are still some cables, filters, and LO sources

    to provide a complete translation channel.  Please contact Roland Speriich (r-sperlich@ti.com) for additional information on these EVMs.
