TRF370417 missing output power

I have build a board using the TRF370417 modulator. My serious problem is, that I get no output power. Schematic is as datasheet Figure 47, page 19. The NC pins are grounded.

LO signal = differential 3GHz, 0dBm

BB signal= differential 200Mhz, -10dBm.

I have tried with other signal levels as well feed the LO as single ended signal. Nothing works.

The Vcc= 5.0Volt.

I have tried out two TRF370417 on my board, in case I did have a soldering issue. None of them give any output signal.

Is the schematic in datasheet wrong? Should the NC pins be NC, biased or something else ?

Hmmm. The schematic is correct. NC pins can be not connected or grounded. A couple of questions.

- Is the device pulling the proper amount of current?

- Verify that DNI parts (Do Not Install) are not installed.

- Can you see the LO bleed-through at the output?

- Is the BB signal at the proper common mode voltage or 1.7V?

Thank you for your inputs. Especially the last one. Problem solved. My BB common mode input was not set correct. Hmm.
