phase detector for 160 MHz IF

hi,
i need to measure  the phase difference (0 to 360' ) between two 160 MHz signals without use of digital clock or signals. i was planning to use AD8302 (analog devices)  i am not happy with phase accuracy and i will have to use two for 360' phasedetection. i need an alternative IC which
can indicate phase difference in terms of analog voltage. phase accuracy i require is +/-2' or better. can u suggest any IC from your side or if betteer recommnend circuit.

I'm not aware of such a device.

You could use one of our PLLs to possibly produce an error signal, but not sure how it would work in your application. LMX2492 supports a phase detector frequency of up to 200 MHz. The PLLs produce an error signal based on the phase of the reference and feedback signals. Typically this feedback servos a VCO to cause the VCO to have a phase locked relationship to the reference.

1) LMX2492 works for minimum i/p of 500 MHz on Ffin pin. both of my signals are 160 MHz only ??

2) it also requires programming so any alternative ??

I'm not aware of any. One of our other PLLs may support your frequency range better. Let me know if your interested in this approach, it does require programming.
