LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2: Trigger GAP_LINK_TERMINATED_EVENT in SimpleSerialSocketClient_processGapMsg

Hi,

I'm using the SDK of simple_serial_socket_client & simple_serial_socket_server of ble_examples-simeplelink_cc2640r2_sdk-3.40. By observation, when one side of BLE connection was broken, 20s was spent such that GAP_LINK_ESTABLISH_EVENT can be received. How to reduce this timeout value? Thanks.

Hi,

In the out-of-the-box example, the Bluetooth LE connection timeout is set to 10 seconds.

You can reduce this value by changing the value of the symbol DEFAULT_DESIRED_CONN_TIMEOUT on the server side.

Hi,

Revising the symbol DEFAULT_DESIRED_CONN_TIMEOUT doesn't help to resolve my issue but you arouse me to use the project in bleapps rather than ble5apps. Refer to How can I enter GAP_LINK_TERMINATED_EVENT immediately - Bluetooth forum - Bluetooth® - TI E2E support forums, this can resolve my issue.
